Step 1 Member Registration

To buy and/ or sell whisky in our auction, you must first register to become a member with Asia Whisky Auction. There is a one-off, non-refundable registration fee of HKD 50. This registration process is to ensure the authenticity of users and to avoid illegitimate bidding.

By registering with us, you agree to our terms and conditions. Please ensure you read and understand the terms and conditions.

 

Step 2 Bottle Registration

To register a bottle with Asia Whisky Auction, please log into your member account first, then click “SELLER’S FORM” in the member account page and fill in the online form accordingly. Please kindly provide all the details of the item on the form, such as any special characteristics, any damage and/or any other information that you wish us to note.

As specify on the form, you would be able to set a Reserve Price on your lot to ensure a minimum hammer price. An additional fee of HKD 100 per Lot will be charged for the Reserve Price setting. Please kindly note that the minimum level a reserve price can be set at is HKD500.

Confirmation email would be sent to you after the bottle registration, lot number assigned would be included in the email.

 

Step 3 Bottle Delivery to Asia Whisky Auction

On the “SELLER’S FORM”, you would be asked to select 1 out of the 3 delivery methods available:


Option 1: PREFERRED OPTION: Courier to Asia Whisky Auction office (organised by Seller) 

Seller to arrange a courier of your choice to deliver the lots to:

Once your courier has collected the lot, please filling in the tracking number by login into your account and click YOUR LOTS.


 Option 2: Drop-Off at Asia Whisky Auction office

Please make an appointment with us via the link in the confirmation email before Seller to drop off the lots in our office:

Option 3: Request Pick Up. 

Asia Whisky Auction team could organise a courier to collect the bottle(s) from you, to set the pickup time according to your schedule, please kindly click the link in the confirmation email. 


FREE if you are sending bottles valued more than HKD100,000. HKD50 per bottle would be charged if the value of the transaction is less than HKD100,000.

  • And if your lot is won from our previous auction, you can choose the relevant option on the Seller’s form.













Step 4 Auction

Once our team has received your lot, we would prepare the details to list the lot on next available auction. Professional photos and detailed description of the lot would be arranged.

Step 5 Seller Payment

Once the auction is finished, our team would make the payment transfer according to your preferred payment method. The transfer timing would be normally between 14-2 working days1 after the end of the auction, since we need to ensure the buyer has received the lot without any issue.

The amount you would receive is the net amount after deducting the following fees from the hammer price:


If your lot has not been sold, our team would contact you for listing it in the next auction (subject to fee) or arranging the lot sending back to you (subject to delivery charge). Storage fee of HKD 10 per bottle per day would be applied to the bottle that are not being collected from our office within 30 days.
